Born in 1976 in Chester, England, Ryan Gander lives and works in Suffolk and London. Working across sculpture, film, writing, graphic design, and performance, Gander explores overlooked details of everyday life. His art invites viewers to create their own narratives and rethink the boundaries of language and knowledge.
Gander draws on the legacy of modernist design to question aesthetic values and creative processes. His works, which demand active viewer participation, transform art into a multi-layered space for dialogue. Gander’s pieces are part of major collections, including Tate Modern and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago.
We are pleased to announce that Ryan Gander’s first solo exhibition in Turkey will take place this coming fall at PİLEVNELİ.
