The artwork created specifically for the event consists of an artificial intelligence interpretation of almost 1 billion coral photographs. Integrating nature with a digital data ecosystem, the work aims to help metaverse and blockchain economies tackle global climate change issues. “Artificial Realities: Coral” used one of the most complex artificial intelligence, producing the closest artificial version of real corals and providing a multi-sensory experience to the viewers with the smell of the ocean.Refik Anadol is one of the two names from Turkey who participated as a speaker at this year's World Economic Forum. Anadol's speech, titled "Cultural Leaders as a Catalyst of Change" and the AI panel where the artist was also a panelist took place on 17 January 2023.
