Dutch photographer Erwin Olaf and Belgian multi-disciplinary artist Hans Op de Beeck are collaborating on a project for the first time thanks to their mutual admiration for Edward Steichen. In the exhibition organized to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Steichen’s death, his landscape photographs are accompanied by Olaf's series "Im Wald" and Op de Beeck's sculpture, watercolor and video works. The exhibition encourages visitors to rediscover Steichen by looking at him from a contemporary perspective, presented by two contemporary artists who were inspired by him. The exhibition titled “Erwin Olaf & Hans Op de Beeck: Inspired by Steichen”, will host art lovers at Le Musée National d'Histoire et d’Art in Luxembourg from December 16, 2022 to June 11, 2023.
