Yuşa Yalçıntaş, who was born on 19 August 1985 in Istanbul, began his education in the Department of Fine Arts of Marmara University in 2005. He completed his education in 2011, after studying the Printing Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Finland between 2009-2010.The artistic language he built following the drawing rules he created himself; blends elements from nostalgic children's book illustrations, the relationship between games & rituals, and the modern Turkish education system after the Republic. Since his works only contain children in a non-linear perspective, they have a 'surreal' viewpoint similar to that of miniature, Far Eastern painting, or Medieval Western art. The artist's works, in his own words, which are 'artificial stages', offer the audience an enigmatic theater.Yuşa Yalçıntaş lives and works in İstanbul.
