In the exhibition titled 'Invisible Thoughts', Arik Levy and Zoe Ouvrier create a selection of historical artifacts from the Musée Barbier-Mueller collection and establish relationships with their own contemporary works. Zoe Ouvrier, for the interesting dialogues that ensued, says that “the mystical relationship created by the material attracts her attention, she connects her works with her emotions without comparing herself to African artists and craftsmen”.
Arik Levy, on the other hand, sees the “invisible thoughts” that give the exhibition its name as part of daily life, social, collective and personal behaviors. According to Levy, invisible thoughts activate deep thoughts and connect with works, artists and audiences.
'Invisible Thoughts' will host art lovers at Musée Barbier-Mueller in Geneva between 9 November 2022 and 3 September 2023.
