The textile collection by one of the artists of PILEVNELI, Mehmet & Kazım in collaboration with Talbot Runhof, can be viewed by visitors.
As part of the Venice Biennale, Munich fashion designers Johnny Talbot and Adrian Runhof are exhibiting a new collection they created with the artist duo Mehmet & Kazım, that brings art and design together with fashion. In addition to the collection, Mehmet & Kazım held their “Kinky & Flirty” exhibition, curated by Mon Muellerschoen, at the stylishly designed Ca' Di Dio. The designs in the collection are based on the iconography of Mehmet & Kazım. Special fabrics are not only in the collection, but also in the works exhibited by Mehmet & Kazım.
In addition, the artist duo created an NFT collection with the same name, based on their works and designed clothes for the Venice Biennale.
After meeting with the visitors at Art Düsseldorf, the works can now be seen in Berlin as part of Gallery Weekend.
