One of the artists from PILEVNELI, Bora Akıncıtürk's first solo exhibition in England, titled "GROUP EGO DEATH YOGA AND MEDITATION", opened at Screw Gallery on 28 January. The gallery hosts four different exhibitions at the same time. This selection of Bora Akıncıtürk's new paintings, replacing one's self with a newer, more extreme self; symbolizes the attainment of a structured self consisting of aesthetics, managed by it. Space plays an important role in Akıncıtürk's works, recontextualizing images and objects within alternative structures to further complicate interpretation.
