PİLEVNELİ is pleased to announce its second exhibition in Yalıkavak, Bodrum in collaboration with Galleria Continua and König Galerie. The exhibition entitled “Figures” merges the idea of sculpture and figurativism, exhibiting three artists represented by each of the three galleries. “Figures” will take place at PİLEVNELİ’s summer location in Yalikavak, Bodrum in Turkey. The exhibition is a collaboration of three different galleries based in three different countries.
Figurativism is defined as an art movement that retains strong references to the real world and particularly to the human figure. The exhibition “Figures” includes 12 artworks by 9 artists - each 3 represented by Galleria Continua, König Galerie and PİLEVNELİ.
Focusing on the human figure and the physical depiction of the human, the sculpture exhibition titled “Figures” presents works by Kathryn Andrews, Daniel Arsham, and Elmgreen & Dragset represented by König Galerie; Hans Op de Beeck, Michelangelo Pistoletto ve Pascale Marthine Tayou represented by Galleria Continua; Johan Creten, Serkan Sarıer, Erdoğan Zümrütoğlu represented by PİLEVNELİ.
Figures can be visited Tuesday through Sunday between 14:00 pm – 22:00 pm at PILEVNELI Yalıkavak.
