RASİM AKSAN

Rasim Aksan explores the depths of human relationships, space, and visual perception through a figurative and hyper-realistic approach. By blending classical references with contemporary themes, Aksan confronts the viewer with a layered visual world where the past and present intertwine. He invites the audience to move beyond being passive observers, encouraging them to uncover the hidden layers of his works. Aksan’s extensive photo archive and deep interest in visual culture serve as significant sources of inspiration in his creative process. Combining acrylic, calligraphy ink, and marbling paint with airbrush techniques, he produces highly sophisticated and detailed compositions, regardless of their scale. Like dreams that shift with each telling, Aksan’s works take the viewer on a journey through the artist’s mental and emotional landscape.
